It was indeed a season of pomp and pageantry as premium rated hotel, Watbridge Hotel&Suites, Uyo, celebrated its one year anniversary.
The celebration which spanned for three days began on Thursday, 26th December, 2019 with a kid’s Christmas party at the super poolside of the hotel, through to the entertainment night on Saturday, the 28th, climaxed with a grand gala and award event on Sunday, 29th December, 2019.
Adding to the glamour of the day, an extraordinary reading session of the Uyo Book Club was held as an event within the event and was headlined by the readings of Drs Udeme Nana, Martin Akpan as well as that of the special guest, former Association of Nigerian Authors president, Dr Wale Okediran.
